Interactive Volcano
Advertising the newest Netflix show La Palma in the middle of Christmas season, we created an interactive volcano inside of a snow globe.Building a 3 meter wide and 4 meter tall interactive volcano. The installation included a button that started a volcanic eruption inside the globe. The eruption included audio, lights and a confetti machine spewing ash from inside the volcano. All electronic components were handled by Smør. The solution also included a custom analytics panel to remotely monitor and debug the solution. The installations was up for one week at Oslo Central Station.
Vaccum
The dome is inflatable rather than solid acrylic, which creates a higher-pressure environment inside the enclosure. As a result, the confetti must move through denser air, requiring a more powerful fan to achieve the desired effect.
